Meeting the right shadchan is a shidduch in and of itself. Upon scheduling a Getting to Know You meeting, we will make sure to present you with an individualized list of talented and experienced shadchanim – some of our own Shidduch Center of Baltimore shadchanim, along with other wonderful local shadchanim – who we believe will best fit your needs. Mrs. Ruthie Kinzer

Originally from Detroit, Mrs. Kinzer has been residing in Baltimore for many years now. She has followed her husband’s chinuch path from Detroit to Monsey to Baltimore, and regularly uses those connections to redd shidduchim. Additionally, as a long-time educator herself, who continues to teach, and has taught in many different schools in many different communities, for both boys and girls, she works very hard to set up her current and past students. Bez’H, Mrs. Kinzer has made countless successful shidduchim over the years. She primarily works with those who are on the more yeshivish side, and those interested in long-time learning post-marriage, but she is happy to work with all demographics, as well.

Mrs. Shani Leiman

Originally from Monsey, NY, Mrs.Shani Leiman has been living in the Silver Spring area with her family for 17 years. Mrs. Leiman’s husband is a rebbi in the Silver Spring yeshiva, and she began dabbling in shidduchim as her husband’s talmidim reached the age of shidduchim. After seeing great hatzlacha,  ב’’ה,  in her efforts, Mrs. Leiman has become a very active shadchan, meeting numerous singles each month. Mrs. Leiman’s focus in shidduchim is direct communication and she takes special care to personally meet each single for a considerable amount of time. She works with all types of singles and families.

Mrs. Tova Rappaport

Mrs. Tova Rappaport is one of Baltimore’s well known and respected shadchanim and has been zocheh to have made many successful shidduchim. For decades she has been devoted to helping redd shidduchim for our community’s singles and does so with great insight and sensitivity.  She has also developed a reputation as a shidduch mentor who has brought to a successful conclusion many shidduchim that may otherwise have fallen apart.  Mrs. Rappaport generally focuses on young women looking for yeshiva type bachurim who plan to spend some time in learning after marriage, whether short or long term, or working young men who will be kovai’a itim l’Torah.

Mrs. Adina Reich

Mrs. Adina Reich is originally from Brooklyn, and she spent a number of years living in Baltimore as a young kollel family. She currently makes her home in Lawrence, and maintains close ties as a respected and experienced shadchan with many of the yeshivos and bachurim in her area, and in particular, with those learning in Shor Yoshuv. Mrs. Reich has been an active shadchan for over two decades, having made many successful shidduchim, bez’H. She is well known for her positive and upbeat attitude; her innovative and forward-thinking approach to dating, relationships, and matchmaking; as well as for her fun, relaxed, and well-attended events for single men and women.

Mrs. Simi Sokoloff

Born, raised, and living right here in Baltimore, Mrs. Simi Sokoloff (nee, Malin) began redding shidduchim at a very early age, and was zocheh to make her first shidduch while still a teenager in Bais Yaakov High School. Bez’H, she has been matzliach in making a number of other shidduchim since then, and has continued to redd shidduchim whenever she is able. Mrs. Sokoloff is very much a people-person, and she always endeavors to fully understand the single men and women she works with, and to appreciate their unique and individual needs. She works on shidduchim for daters of all types and ages within the frum community, and she makes herself readily available throughout the entire dating process, ensuring a close and strong bond with all the families she connects with.

Mrs. Yocheved Strum

A native Baltimorean, Mrs. Yocheved Strum has been making shidduchim for many years. Mrs. Strum understands the issues that contemporary daters face; is known to walk couples through every aspect of the dating process; and her insights and wisdom have been instrumental in aiding many single men and women to effectively navigate the dating process. Mrs. Strum has an inner knack with shidduchim that helps her to understand what each person needs in a spouse, and bez’H, she has had many successes. While Mrs. Strum works with all demographics of single men and women, and takes steps to ensure that each dater feels understood and comfortable, she specializes with those who plan to learn in yeshiva, or are committed to being kovea itim, after marriage

Mrs. Rivky Tendler

Raised in LA, Mrs. Tendler has made Baltimore her home since marriage, and is also known as a beloved and dedicated morah.  As second generation shadchan, she has learned a great deal from her mother, Mrs. Feige Gruman, and continues the family tradition in exemplary fashion, having made successful shidduchim since she was in high school, bez’H. While her primary demographic of focus is those planning to learn long-term after marriage, the close connections she has cultivated with networks of shadchanim in many other cities around the country allows her to be of vital assistance to as many daters as possible, of many different demographics. Mrs. Tendler also possess a keen sense of personalities, and is an experienced dating coach.

Mrs. Keren Traub

Mrs. Traub has been devoted to the singles of Baltimore community for many years, and has been instrumental in many of the Shidduch Center’s Meet the Shadchan Events. Mrs. Traub is known for her positive and high-energy approach towards everything she dedicates herself to doing, and she takes the time to really get to know each single person she meets with. While Mrs. Traub works with all singles, she has a special focus on young women who are looking for shidduchim with bachurim who plan on learning in Kollel for a few years, and have a plan for their future profession.
